[CURRENTLY EDITING] [ONYX: PHANTOM TRILOGY BOOK TWO IS IN PROGRESS] He murdered everyone I loved. He fed me lies, hid me from what he really was. A monster. As I was escaping, he swore he would find me, punish me, that he wouldn't stop until he saw me again. Well, that day may come sooner than he thinks because I made a vow, too. A vow to never rest, never sleep until I kill him. I will get my vengeance, even if I die trying. ----------------------------------------------------------- Quinn is a vigilante who is recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D. to help the Avengers kill monsters called demons, who suck out your soul, kill you, and then, if you're having a really bad day, devour you. What seems like a series of attacks is uncovered to be much, much more complicated and deadly, with hidden secrets and dark pasts. But for Quinn, nothing can stop her from killing the man she once called father, because he will pay for what he did, even if it kills her. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Marvel characters or Lucius Fox, who is a DC character.

"Trouble is my middle name." ~ Lillian Nightshade is a metaphorical rock in SHIELD's boot, one that not only has a mouth snarkier and more sarcastic than the hypothetical (and entirely impossible) baby of Tony Stark and Deadpool, but has a certain knack for slipping from the authorities' grasp on a regular basis. She's arrogant, she's witty, she's satirical, she's immature and she's one of the best damn assassins in the industry. Steve Rogers is the hero every man wants to be. He has a strong sense of duty, honour, dignity and humility, with old fashioned, idealistic goals that would make the world a better place. Some - namely Stark - would call him a stick in the mud and make a mockery of him by pinning him with obscene names like 'Fourth of July Stripper' or 'Walking Flagpole', but in the end, he's America's sweetheart with a golden legacy that will last for generations. So it's only natural that the two complete opposites - who are also each other's enemies- to clash the moment they meet one another, yes? Filled with action, revenge, old adversaries, humour and of course the lovely drizzle of a bipolar romance, this is the story of how a narcissistic assassin falls for one of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Her enemy. BOOK ONE OF THE NIGHTINGALE CHRONICLES WINNER OF MARVEL FANFICTION AWARDS 2016 IN FOLLOWING CATEGORIES: #1 Female Villain - Lillian Nightshade Best Female Antihero- Lillian Nightshade Most Motivational Character - Allison Renegade Best Developed Character - Lillian Nightshade Highest number on Fanfiction is #6 **UNDER EDITING AND CONSTRUCTION** ** I do not own any Marvel or comic characters. Sequel to The Impossible Mission. Cover found on Tumblr - No copyright infringement intended. When Loki turns up unexpectedly after 12 months of absence, Ava is pretty...well....surprised. She is even more surprised when he asks her to go back to Asgard with him. Ava agrees to go with him on the condition that she can return to Earth when she needs to, which Loki reluctantly agrees to. Odin has forgiven Loki after he suffered a year of punishment for trying to take over Earth, but some others haven't quite gotten over his actions. When they get to Asgard, Ava immediately makes enemies and maybe one or two friends. The citizens of Asgard immediately take a liking to Ava, for she isn't of royal blood and she treats them as equals, unlike Loki. As Ava soon realises, Asgard is crawling with deadly secrets and surprises and she takes it upon herself to unearth them all. Whilst Ava is causing her own trouble and landing herself in trouble, Loki has his own plans. With Tony Stark's wedding nearing and her friends in desperate need of her help, Ava needs to get back to Earth quick, but an invasion from Jotunheim on Asgard soon puts all of her plans in jeopardy. Can she fight off hordes of Frost Giants and be back in time for the wedding? Copyright abbiemca and Marvel, enjoy!

--Watty winner-- In Victorian London, monster hunting isn't just a job, it's a way of life. Freddie Westman, a reporter for a paranormal magazine, is one of the best in the business, but now it's personal. His childhood friend, Jim Penderry, has disappeared, and the signs point to sinister forces from beyond the grave. If Westman wants to save Jim, he'll have to face his worst fear. No, not fighting a demon with only a cake to hand. Something far more daunting. Sceptical Sophie Penderry doesn't solve mysteries or go on adventures. She's more at home in the library with her nose in The Botanist's Guide to Plants and Fungi. But she puts the science books away to help Westman find her missing brother, whether he likes it or not. Which he really doesn't. Westman is a loner, reluctant to lead anyone into danger. According to him, the supernatural is not just the stuff of folklore and children's nightmares, and a world of black magic awaits them. Now Westman must decide if he should push Sophie away for her own safety, or take a leap of faith and accept an offer of help and friendship. Either way, time is running out to find Jim, and worse still, they may not make it back in time for tea and biscuits. ~Featured story (Sep 2014 - Aug 2017) ~Selected by R.L.
