I looked up and beyond the boundaries of the park above the grape fields, a vast, spiraling, funnel cloud touched ground, directed towards my house. With my heard pounding, I run inside my house, not bothering to close the door. My legs take me all the way into my mom’s room where I grab a blanket off the bed. Into the bathroom I run and after, I jumped into the bathtub. Crouching down, I placed the blanket over my body and wait, listening intently.
