Going back and rereading For Anything and Family I realized something. A lot of time had passed between the two. In that time, Eren had grown up and made his place in the world, but none of that was ever told. So to get me back in the writing kick from the break I had to take for my classes, this is a collection of short stories about that time that Eren spent growing up in the Survey Corps, and how Levi coped with newfound fatherhood.

Eren Jaeger, adopted son of Levi, now twelve, wants to join the trainees so he qualifies for the Survey Corps. Levi Rivaille, his father, refuses to let him. All Eren wants to do is to be someone Levi can be proud of, and Levi just wants to protect Eren, and make him understand he was always proud of him. But everything changes when Wall Maria falls, and Eren slips away.

One is depressed. The other schizophrenic. Between the prescriptions and other insanity, will they find peace with one another? Eren Jaeger, a Divorced single father of his three year old son, Hunter. Eren is a busy man, works full time trying to support his young son. While battling the new challenge of being both a mother and father all at once while still trying to be financially stable to care for his young one. Levi Ackerman, also a Divorced single father but to his six year old son, Viktor. Levi is more financially stable and able to be at home more and spend time with his own son. He's not perfect though, he struggles with insecurity problems of trying to be a good enough parent to Viktor. He became a father unwillingly and constantly thinking he's ruining his sons childhood and worried he's going through the wrong path. Eren and Levi are neighbors. Levi has no problem with babysitting Hunter while Eren is off at work most hours of the day. If comments seem a bit out of place, it's because I gave this book a heavy (well needed) edit! Eren was the eldest boy at the orphanage, mostly sticking to himself his whole life and just spending his time doing school work, looking after small children, and getting bullied. He couldn't remember the last time he felt much happiness, and he dealt with the pain with almost daily cutting. As life went on he felt closer and closer to just ending it.. but then he meets Levi. Levi, the star pupil, academically, comes to his aid and starts to protect him. He's a bit forward, but Eren likes him, and Levi likes him back. Things lead to one another and slowly Eren is realising more about his past and Levi won't stop asking questions. Will Eren tell him what he knows or will he end it before Levi can find out? What happens when he realises his life is a lie?
