Charlie Stiles is a princess. Sounds great, right? Not. She wants nothing to do with her royal heritage. Her mom and dad have wanted nothing to do with her either unless they need her for publicity. When her grandmother, the Queen of Tecelly, dies its revealed in her will that Charlie was actually her daughter-and the rightful heir to the throne. Now the royal guards and knights are after her and she finds it a royal pain in the butt- but not life threatening. When Charlie receives an email saying she only has five days left, she starts to wonder who is trying to kill her and when will they strike?

Monsters. Fairytale creatures. Aboriginal deities. These are only some of the things that Christopher Pierce has to deal with in his everyday life. It's just that "everyday" happens to be filled with strange, magical, and most of the time unpleasant things. Chosen as a Knight, a champion of humanity, and the rightful wielder of the ancient blade, Gram, Chris does all he can to protect the denizens of New York City from threats they aren't even aware of. It's during a supposed vacation-slash-business meeting assigned to him by his dissociated sister however, that Chris finds out what it really means to be a Knight as he clashes with forces even more terrifying than the darkest of gods and monsters. Note: If you're reading this for the first time, read the [COMPLETE] one. I tried re-editing the whole thing and haven't gotten around to finishing so there will be inconsistencies (like originally, the story was set in the Rockies but in the re-edit, I've moved them to somewhere in Europe).
