"I was broken. Nothing, no one could fix me. Until you came into my life again. I wish I had gone with you that day instead of him. Because, now I can't imagine how I spent the previous years of my life without you by my side. You are my savior. You showed me that its okay to be broken and you showed me that I wasn't alone. You were with me. i love you for that. But I hate that I love you. I was never good with love. I'm scared that one day I'll wake up without you by my side. One day you will realize that you are better off without me and I don't want that day to come. Not now, not ever. I love you too much to let you go. I finally have a place in this world and that is next to you. You once said, 'Our mistakes compliment each other.' Truer words than these were never said before. We are both broken and incomplete but together, we're whole and we're fixed. We might be too bad for the others, but we are good for each other. They say all good things come to an end, but I'm bad and so are you. Together, we are horrible. But that just means that we're inevitable. You are mine and I promise to forever be yours." ***The wrong girl is sometimes The Right One.*** Charlotte Samuels thought she'd be stuck waiting tables at Marlow's until all her debts are paid off-in about ten thousand years or so. She definitely didn't expect a marriage proposal from the arrogant Brandon Maxfield who was blackmailed by his father to make her his wife if he didn't want his least favorite cousin to run Maxfield Industries. Charlotte's instinct was to say HELL NO! but she's stumped by a few obstacles: 1.) His old man Martin Maxfield is dear to her heart and has been recently deteriorating in health. 2.) She gets a million dollars if she stays married to Brandon for a year. 3.) She would rather like the opportunity to teach the attractive but awfully rude man a few lessons he didn't think he needed from a 'teenage gold-digger' which was his term of endearment for her on their first date-er, business meeting. So what's a girl got to do, right? Sure, she's young and a little rough around the edges but there's something her would-be husband didn't know about her yet-she's nothing like he ever expected. Thrust into the glitzy world a standard-issue Mrs. Maxfield would fit perfectly and rule with impeccable social grace, Charlotte will either have to force herself into the mold or break free of it, risking what little she has left for everything that she can gain. *** Copyright © 2014 by Nina Tippett. [Book two in 'The Test' series] The test was finally over. Everyone woke up. They all remembered what they had forgotten in the test. But even with this being the case, some have forgotten the test completely, as if it never happened. And Jack just so happens to be one of the people that can't remember the test. Lexi, John, and Natalie don't know what the reason for it is, but they're sure this is just another sick trick caused by Reid. And to make matters worse, Reid is the father Jack thought he lost years ago to a fire. The test may be over but for others, it seems, another test has just begun. Side note: This book and series has plot holes and other writing errors I hope to fix in the future. It can be a really confusing ride because I got a bit lazy in this book. Like, seriously, I messed up big time while writing this one and this needs major fixing. I'm not even the slightest bit joking. This. Is. Bad. Like, really bad. But I hope you enjoy if you do decide to read this... :) ❒❒❒❒ Books in this series include: The Test [Book One] (COMPLETED)-A Wattys2014 Beginner's Luck Award winner in TheWattys.
