Even though Tim Bradford is the best player on the L.A. Kings, his team might not renew his contract for another season because he is single. Lucy Chen, a world famous pop star constantly scrutinized for her dating life, thought her secret fiancée was the one, which is what she told the media in her excitement for her upcoming private wedding...that was canceled last minute. Their friends come up with a plan- Lucy and Tim should pretend to get married to help each other out. The only problem: faking it as a couple just might lead to real feelings.

After the 2017 election, Rob Jetten comes bouncing into parliament with all the enthusiasm of an impeccably dressed and exceptionally well-groomed puppy. Normally, Jesse would be more than happy to show an old friend the ropes - if they were just 'old friends,' that is. This is based on The Rookie television series. I do not own the characters. This fanfic is an homage to the best TV couple - Lucy Chen and Tim Bradford. Also known as #Chenford. My writing mostly sticks with Canon, but I include additional scenes and internal thoughts of the characters.

What will Lucy do? Emmett has her trapped, her daughter needs her. But her heart is with a certain TO with blue eyes. When will she have enough? What happens when Tim finds out the secrets his Boot has been hiding? I do not Own the Rookie or any of there characters.
