Peridot, the unpopular highschool nerd just wants to get through her last year of school quietly. But apparently that's impossible because of a rebellious blue haired actress and her tendency to pull peridot out of her comfort zone. It's bad enough getting bullied by an old friend, why couldn't she just leave her alone? It goes from bad to worse when Peridot gets pulled into her friend group and is forced to tag along on their wacky adventures. How is she going to survive this? (Cover edited/drawn by me)

Homeworld has captured two gems that go by the names of Lapis Lazuli and Peridot and are holding them in waiting cells on a gem spaceship set for homeworld. The time to get there is long, so the two prisoners begin to chat while waiting for their demise. It seems that the two have formed a strong relationship. Maybe even too strong...

Lapis is the kind of person who is fun to be around but when she is mad or upset she would be better to avoid. Peridot is a nerd obsessed with TV shows and such. Peridot is smart and Lapis is a 'special' student meaning she can't really process information that easily. So when Peridot is choosen to be her tutor... nothing can go wrong right?? what if gems went to high school? what if gems had parents? and what if all the gems we know were in the state of mind as teenagers? follow lapis and peridot's story as they attend home world high together as best friends and watch as their relationship grows closer but what if things all go crumbling down because of peridot's mental illness what will happen? (Note: I wrote this when I was like 12 so I wasn't all that great at writing yet so it may be cringey and sort've all over the place)
