Alexia Lee is a genius, and with the world at her feet, and nothing left to discover. For Alexia, the world is a boring place, severely lacking in any form of mental stimulus. She is extremely condescending and elitist, with high expectations for everything. Until, one day, Almier shows up and Alexia's falls head over heels. However, her childhood friend Caden, though not as intelligent, confuses her, which is very rare occurrence given her systematic and pragmatic thinking. Suddenly, Alexia is posed with a question she never thought she would face, decisions she never dreamt of making and a leap of faith she never look before.

Welcome Wattpadders! This book will be short and to the point. I won’t bore you with mundane grammar rules or the crap you learn in English class, but I will offer simple suggestions on how to improve your writing. These are tips that I use every day when I sit down to write. Nothing fancy, just the basics. I can’t promise that your “hotness” will go up, but I can guarantee that you’ll be a step above the people who don’t implement these techniques. Also, I encourage you to link to this book when commenting on other’s work. Sometimes it can be draining typing out the same suggestions over and over. I’m not trying to gain votes or comments with this book, I’m just here to provide budding writers with simple methods to hone their skills. So, with that brief introduction out of the way, let’s figure out how to improve your stories on Wattpad!

There are hundreds of fantastic books about writing for hopeful authors to choose from, but most of them are boring, complicated, and bogged down by filler. This little book is brief, straight forward, and easy to understand. I hope it will serve as an easy-to-read manual to help serious writers perfect their craft. I should say right off the bat that I am NOT an expert; I forget my own tips all the time! However, I do know what generally works for me, so I thought I could pass it on to my friends at Wattpad. One last note: this book is for writers who have a basic understanding of grammar and story structure. If you’re interested in more fundamental steps you can take to write a great story, check out the companion to this book!

I'll show you how to improve your story with just a few tips and exercises. Writing a novel can be confusing, especially if you're new to it. Even if you're a pro at writing, it still helps to be refreshed. This is my way to help you. Hopefully it WILL help in your journey as a writer, and if you have questions, please ask me. I'll address topics such as: ~The five senses ~Believable characters ~Improving first drafts ~Plot twists ~Dialogue ~Descriptions ...And much more. Oh, and one more thing before you begin reading. I know there are a lot of chapters, and a ton of content, but don't overwhelm yourself! Try starting off with a couple topics you know you could improve on, work on those, and then read a couple more. If you read all of these chapters at once it may be a bit too much to take on! So take your writing journey as slow as you need, and work on it one step at a time.
