Please stop commenting about it. Basically welcome to angst land. This story is about Keith Kogane who sadly, lives in an abusive house hold. His dad Jason a raging alcoholic and his mother Veronica who is basically is sleeping with a different man every night. Keith sees nothing good in this word, his parents hate him, school hates him, he only has one friend and he isn't even at school most of the time. He doesn't see anything good in life... Until he meets Lance. At first he hated Lance. He even denied liked him. But soon enough. ~WARNING~ Mentions of injuries, violence, and possibly gory details ~ In the midst of battle, Blue ejects Lance as the Lion takes a heavy blow. Lance is stranded on the Earth-like planet since Blue fell into a deep abyss. The paladins realize this is a battle that won't be won and decide to leave. But as they realize the blue lion is temporarily lost, they decide to leave Keith and Red to stay with Lance and look for Blue. Maybe the rivals can learn to be friends... Or perhaps more (Sorry for the terrible description and its cheesiness. This takes place sometime in season two after they find out Keith is Galra, but kinda goes off the plot at some point. Keith begins experiencing changes after getting lost on Voltron's last mission. He has to deal with his new strength and the strange looks he gets from the team, especially Lance.

Everyone thought he was afraid of nothing. That was until Shiro found him shaking and in tears after a fear simulator.

Keith is struggling with night terrors and flashbacks to when the Galra had tortured him while he was imprisoned. The only person who has been able to keep him sane while he was on the brink of insanity is Lance.
