On the 22nd of February, 1980, Malakai Regulus Black was born. His mother died mere minutes after his first breath, her name buried alongside her known only to Walburga Black. His father, Regulus Black, was already gone, leaving behind nothing but whispers and unfinished choices.
With no parents to claim him, Malakai was raised by his grandmother in the ancestral home of Black where silence echoed louder than grief. As the sole heir to the Ancient and Most Noble House of Black, he was taught grace before comfort, duty before desire. Grand balls and polished smiles masked a childhood shaped by expectation and quiet scrutiny.
To the wizarding elite, Malakai was a symbol of continuity it was a reminder that the House of Black had not fallen. He carried their respect with practiced composure, never questioning aloud what was demanded of him.
But a Black name carries weight as well as blame.
To many, he was judged long before he spoke, condemned to a legacy he did not choose. The sins of his family lingered in every glance, every whispered judgment. Admired by some. Distrusted by most.
And like his father before him, Malakai learned early that loyalty and belief are not always the same thing.
But will he find the strength to save himself, or is he destined to disappear beneath the same shadows that claimed his father?
