Mabel Pines finds herself in a little bit of a pickle: She and her twin brother Dipper find the time-traveling tape and use it to go back in time-- The only problem? During the time-jump, they get separated. Now, Mabel is left alone, with no knowledge of what happened to Dipper. Thirteen year olds, Dipper and Mabel Pines have never been to Gravity Falls, Oregon. They've heard of it, of course, as both of their great uncles live there. But, they've not once gotten the gut to go and physically travel there. FaceTime and Skype works fine, right? One day, Dipper receives a strange gift from his father, who was always one for trying new things. So, "trying new things" is just what Dipper did. Now stuck somewhere in between space and time, Dipper needs to figure out how to get back to his present time period before he's truly history.

Dipper shivered. His body felt wrong. Something was wrong... what was it? He'd look at his hands and stare at the self harm that wasn't inflicted by him. Mabel watched from the other room, in secret. Soda dripped off her brother's face in mass amounts, he'd stare at the same page in his journal for hours... something was wrong and she intened to find out what. -------------------- I'd just like to say, it's been a year since FfC and my writing has improved massively. So, I've decided to rewrite one of my most popular stories, except in an (almost) worthy quality.

But after getting his body taken over by some dream demon, watching this mysterious guy come out of a dimensional portal, and finally seeing a frightful past of the town he's taken refuge in, he's pretty much the paranormal expert. He's learned what to trust and who to trust, and of course, who and what NOT to trust. But lately, Dipper's been feeling a little under the weather. He's barely gotten any sleep, he seems to have come down with some kind of flu and hasn't gone on a mystery hunt in nearly two months. Dipper, however, knows this isn't just some passing bug. What's causing this? It just isn't normal... Gravity Falls has a dark secret.
