My heart pounds into my ears. My shoulder screams in pain, with each slamming foot step. My lungs burn for air, but I know I can't stop. I can hear Skyler's ragged breaths beside me, as we run through the ally. Glancing to my right I see, Jake right beside me with his pistol in hand. Glancing down I see my own pistol in my hands, and my black boots shinning in the setting sun. Glancing back up, I bring the pistol closer to my chest in a effort to stop the pain in my shoulder. The gun bangs against the metal in my shoulder, making the pain explode more. The sniper bangs against my back, as I refocus back on what's in front of me.
