Though, befriending Tristessa had to be the best thing he could have ever done. He found something in her, something he couldn't resist. Even through countless arguments and days he wants to throw in the towel, something tells him she's worth fighting for, he just hopes that something isn't wrong.
Being a teenager has to be one of the hardest times, regardless of what anyone says. You are trying to find yourself, dedicating yourself to every responsibility, and maneuvering through new feeling which could be scary. Tristessa and Xavier are frightened, but without knowing how the other feels, they are mutually fighting for something larger than themselves.
