I will be writing a new short story every week. I don't have the original source, but each "chapter" title will be the original prompt. It is centered primarily on my own characters, credit will be given to anyone else's I use.

The year is 1665. The great city of London must once again face the black death plaguing its streets. As each of them are thrust into a new and dangerous situation, a group of young girls from all different backgrounds must find a way to work together to protect the already weak country from a great power lurking in the shadows of the darkest streets of London. But, when one of their own seals her fate, will they have the strength to face what she might bring?

Kora was just another ordinary girl until she learned of a magic that has been buried deep inside of her. Will she be able to keep her secret, learn how to harness her new found powers, protect her new friends, defeat an eminent threat looming overhead and stay alive?
