Mikey and Gerard had been close since childhood, sharing action figures and reading comic books together. Nothing could split them.  That's what they thought.  Gerard becomes distant and stops talking to Mikey, even when Mikey needed him most. Eventually, Gerard left. He left a note and said that he was never coming back and not to look for him. He was twenty-one, he was an adult. He made this choice for himself. Mikey was heartbroken. His brother and only friend was gone. What happens when Mikey is close to losing it, going completely insane? Will someone come to his rescue?

Basically, Frank Iero is the new kid of a high school in New Jersey. He sees this kid that he has a HUGE crush on him... The kids name is Mikey Way. His brother, Gerard, won't let him see Frank because he thinks Frank is weird and gay and doesn't want Mikey to turn out like him. Will Mikey and Frank ever see eachother with Gerard in the way?

Book #1 Frank is a sixteen year old boy who has had a tough life starting when he was six. His mom would bring home men and while they wouldn't lay a hand on her, it was open season on Frank. Mikey is a nineteen year old man who was kicked out of his house by his parents on his eighteenth birthday with no money and no place to go. He works at odd jobs and trys his hardest to do well. Frank Iero, 17 years old, gets injuries randomly, out of the blue. He doesn't do them to himself and no one does them to him, that he knows of. He doesn't know why it happens, how it happens, and who or what is doing it to him. After a bad accident he's determined to find out what is happening, but is quite surprised by the source of his wounds.
