I stared into her brown eyes. They were gentle and becoming softer as they filled with tears. "How could you?" She said as she choked on the words as they flew from her mouth. I tried to grab her and pull her close but she pushed me away. "You said that I was your everything. You said that I was your Alaska and you were Miles. You said that I was your Hazel to your Augustus. Your Tris to your Tobias. You said I was your world. You said that you needed me to breathe. But you go for her?" Her tears welled up and finally fell. She rubbed her cheeks dry, leaving them red. Her lips, though still kissable, were puffy and red. She turned away, crossing her arms, and there she went. Right out of my life. And now here I am, dwelling on the past and writing this stupid story about how our love story came to a sudden hault.

My head sat softly in his warm neck. His arm wrapped around me like a blanket, grasping my fragile hand. He held me close. He smelled of sandalwood. The TV was turned on and images flashed before us, but time stood still. I looked up at him. His beautiful blue eyes peeked behind his coal colored hair. His skin, as pale as chalk was smooth. He glanced down at me. His eyes directed themselves towards my naturally pink lips. His hand graced my cheek. He moved in, his lips touching mine. Chills went up my spine and goosebumps grew down my arms. My eyelashes brushed against his cheek. My heart raced, faster and faster. But my breathing was slow and steady. My pulse was racing faster than a Nascar race car. His world was now my reality and it was too late to go back. I pulled away, opening my eyes and looking into the blue ones of his. I began to breathe, catching my breath and hooking on to every last particle I could. Liam's hand still held my cheek. His head moved slowly towards the bay window in front of my house. His eyes grew wide. I felt his heart began to race. "Liam, what's wrong?" I asked him. My voice a soft and sweet. He turned his head towards me. His hand fell from my face. He took a deep breath. "It's him." Panic was in his voice. I felt my breath go short. "We need to go." He continued in his soft accent. Alice and Skylar were just two regular teenage girls until Liam walked into their lives. Now they are running from Liam's biological father at all costs. It's too late to turn back now. They have to keep running for cover.
