"They're wolf-like creatures from where I come from." Daniel answers. "Where you come from?" He smirks. "You didn't really think I come from here, did you, hothead?" Skye was a normal, 16 year old girl who's life was nothing but boring. For almost her whole life, she lived in an orphanage. But when some strong creatures destroy the orphanage, everything changes. She meets the mysterious Daniel and before she knows, everything she knew seems to be a lie and though she knows she isn't important, people keep saying she is. Together with her best friend Ethan, little Lilly and Daniel, she tries to find the truth about who destroyed the orphanage, about what happened to her parents and about who she actually is.

When Annalise Mitchell is struck with the reality of losing someone that means a lot to her, everything comes crashing down. West Darryls had always been there, and knowing that she'd never see him again kills her. There's nothing she can do about it. And coming face to face with the truth that this isn't some high school prank or a rumor hurts even more. It's real. And you can't change reality. Until one day, she finds a letter behind West's bedroom door, followed by fragments of sentences which led into something more. Clues.
