Although she wouldn't like to admit it, Isabel Allen can be selfish, argumentative, and more than a little insecure. When she and the moody, tattooed and positively infuriating Harry Styles are forced to work together at a bowling alley three days a week, Isabel thinks she's living in her own personal hell. But time changes more than just the seasons, and one year is a long time to work out not only each other, but yourself, too. A story about messy hair, heavy drinking, marathons, film trivia and being okay. [ the story is not mine! all credit goes to oxygenstyles. ]

[COMPLETED] A color so dark that possesses such potential-burgundy. Could a color so dark be deemed worthy of love? If black could be the inevitable twilight and it could be adored with a side of whiskey, then surely burgundy could be worthy of some type of adoration. And, for a time, it was.

"Aren't you afraid?" "Of what? Dying?" "Yes, exactly that." She took a moment to deliberately pick the right words in her mind because she knew he was going to ask why the moment after she answered, "No. Death is unavoidable, it's a part of life that is inescapable since birth. It's written in our very nature. The problem is that people spend too much time worrying about death and not living their lives to their fullest potential. We were born to both live and die and that seems to be forgotten somewhere along the way. I am not afraid of dying even though I could die at any given day at any given time because I'm making the most of my life and I know that something better awaits me when I go." [Edited!]

She knows that there's more out there in the world - in fact, she spends most of her time either daydreaming or painting about it. She knows that the South Dakotan town she's grown up in is only suffocating her. That's why she finds Harry so intriguing. He's different and he brings out something in her that she wasn't sure was still there. Suddenly she's second-guessing everything she has known her entire life - maybe she does need someone.
