Annelise lives a normal, slightly hectic life like any other college student does. There's only one difference : she's an Assassin by night. (cliche, yes yes, but you gotta read it cause it's bit different.) The thing is, she doesn't kill the people she's assigned to get. She lives as peacefully as anyone with a double life does. That is, until someone in the assassin's network starts giving out many assssin's real names and, for some, it starts showing their pictures. Fingers start pointing at her, and the rest is history.

"Y-you," she stuttered, staring at the handsome man sitting on the sleek black throne, "you're..." He rolled his eyes, waving his hand impatiently and said, "Hades. Come on, say it with me. Ha-des." "Hades," Ariel breathed out, still not believing the sight before her. Every picture she had seen of the gods had not depicted Hades' beauty. The god sitting before her was not a crusty old man with a white beard; no, he was a Calvin Klein model. "Yes," Hades clasped his hands together and grimaced, "the God of Death and riches; that's me." Never in my life has my mom ever said something so horrible, so disgusting. Never in my sixteen years of living, have I heard something so awful and cruel. When Mom said those five words, I felt like my world was ending, and that my life was over. "You're going to high school." Now, I know what you're thinking. What's so bad about high school? Well, nothing if you're a normal, responsible human. But, that's just the thing. I'm not human. I'm a vampire. And, I've watched a hundred human movies to know that high school is horrible. My life has officially ended.
