Pepe is just an ordinary meme, and his dream is to become a popular meme in Meme High School- where Dan Howell is the most famous meme of all time. One day Pepe's Instagram page becomes very popular. His Instagram is where Pepe posts most of his selfies, and ever since his page became popular Pepe has never been the same. Pepe has become almost as popular as Dan. And when internet famous meme, Dan Howell, finds Pepe's page, feelings occur and and love rises.

Dan Howell is a timid boy, who always does as he is told. He was once friends with Phil Lester, the 'bad influence' who soon ditches Dan for the popular group in Year 7. After five years of not talking to each other, they're partnered in a project and Phil's wants to win Dan over just like he has with most of their year. But yet, Dan is determined to find out what Phil is hiding behind his arrogant mask.

Phil doesn't have a best friend in his life. That is, until Dan turns up at his school. They become close and Phil finds out that Dan has a twin brother, but hates to talk about him. It's not until Phil comes over to Dan's house that he finds out why.

Phil's always had it the same way. Comes to school, gets tormented by Dan and his friends, leaves, and repeats. Dan is a popular boy at his school, he gets every girl he wants, is the captain of every sports team, has lots of friends, and is the worst person in the world to Phil. Phil is a geek who would much rather spend his time listening to music or reading. He only has four friends and no one likes him. He feels like he is worthless and slips into deeper depression each day. But what happens when they switch bodies and Dan has a taste of what it's like to be Phil? Find out in This book!
