"I'm a sick child." "I'm only an injured one." "Only is a good thing." --- Hallie has never been healthy. But when forced to move to Liverpool because they have a better hospital to cater for her deadly illness, she meets George. George comes every few weeks because he's broken his arm, and Hallie is either there for ages or comes very often. They just seem to click. They get on, so a friendship forms. But the unfortunate question on their minds is: can we survive a friendship, literally? Though I think they're forgetting: could it even grow?

Beatles fan fiction. "Never in my mind have I doubted how I feel for George. I've loved him for so long I can't remember when I didn't. I can't remember the moment I fell in love with him. I just always have loved him... But sometimes, love isn't enough." When Hannah and her sister, Minnie meet the members of a rock and roll group, their lives change. Hannah quickly falls for the young guitarist, George, but things aren't as simple as they appear. Hannah and Minnie have to leave Liverpool, they have to run away from home, but leaving George behind seems unthinkable. Before Hannah and Minnie can put their plan into action, the Silver Beatles get a gig in Germany - a three month engagement in Hamburg. Using the opportunity to 'visit' the boys in Hamburg, Hannah and Minnie finally escape Liverpool all together but when it transpires George will have to go home early, Hannah can't go home with him. And she can't explain why. Saying goodbye to George breaks Hannah's heart. She and Minnie leave Germany and Hannah doesn't think she'll ever see her first love again, but fate and destiny has other plans for The Beatles, and for Hannah and George as well. This story is really six stories in one. Each part could be read as it's own separate story, or read all parts together to experience the very up and down relationship between Hannah and George, through Beatlemania and beyond. In 1965, George meets a mysterious young woman outside of Abbey Road Studios. As he is drawn into a passionate and turbulent love affair with her, it becomes clear she is not all she appears to be. But will George realise, as he becomes more and more entangled in lies and deceit, what is at stake? His family, The Beatles, his freedom... and perhaps, his very life. This is a drama/thriller Beatles story, which is now complete! It centres around George, but the other Beatles feature heavily too. I'd love to hear what you think, Thanks for reading. **The Devil In Her Heart is a work of fiction. As such, it should not be read as a factual account of events or as biography.
