April Madison is the Alpha of the Dark Lycan pack, which is the biggest pack in the world. For April being a girl, she had to work extremely hard into getting to where she is now. Living up to her title and reputation, she has been called a lot of names, including ruthless and heartless. She thinks that she won't find her mate because of all she has done in the past. But April thinks again when she literally stumbles into the Omega of her pack. Alec James is the Omega, the lowest rank you could be in a pack, other than slave. He isn't treated badly, but isn't treated the greatest either. He mostly goes unnoticed around the pack and its people, but there are those people how push him around and use their rank to overrule him into doing something. Alec tried his hardest to avoid Alpha April because he is slightly scared of her. He has seen the things she has done to Rouges to get them to talk, or when times we were attacked and how ruthless she was. Every time he was around her, he kept his head bowed and stayed near the back. When Alec finally met his mate, he's scared to find out it's his Alpha. He runs away from her, and tried to hide, but having to follow basically everyone's demands, he didn't make it too far. Alec expects the worst when he is returned to his mate, but it ends up a lot different. When April doesn't reject him, but accepts him, he finds it hard to believe. Not only that, but he sees a side to his Alpha no one has in years.

There are now only two places to live. Being behind the safety of the Walls, but rule bound place of Solaris, or in a dangerous land of the killing, outside of the Walls, where there were no rules, but one. Survive. That was the Wild. Zora, now known as Sin, has been living in the Wild since she was thirteen, but she wasn't alone. She lives with others who, too, were sick of all the rules of Solaris, or who were exiled. She is now twenty, and very few know what actually happened to her and what made her choose to run into the Wild at such a young age. It takes much skill to survive outside the Walls. Infected, who once were men and women, roam the land, killing every moving thing that isn't themselves. They are the people who were affected by the drugs, poisons, radiation and more from the last war that destroyed everything. Those who were affected turned into cannibalistic, killing, brainless monsters that the Survivors are always killing to stay alive. Sin is the best of the camp she calls home. No one has ever seen anyone like her. Quiet, serious, secretive, smart. She is a killing machine that can never be stopped. She was always planning ways to kill a large number of the monsters at one time. She rarely takes things lightly, and most people knew not to mess with her, unless they had a death wish. The fighting is never going to end. The Wild will live on, along with all the monsters and all of its hidden secrets, but the City would soon fall, making the Wild overrun by more monsters and people.
