The New Girl

"You're the new girl she wouldn't stop talking about." He mumbled, almost bitterly, taking a small step back he took the kids hands in his own "I have to get them to school." And with that he turned his back and began walking down the gravel sidewalk. Maybe being the new girl wasn't a good thing.
