She knows nothing of the man placing the ad except that he is a widower with a little girl and he lives out west. At least she was making her own decisions and being a romantic at heart she could only hope that she would find love with this stranger.

I am a HUGE fan of historical fiction but as this genre is not very popular (as compared to romance or teen fiction), not many people know about these hidden gems. These books might have less views or reads (and therefore people think that they might not be good) but trust me when I say this that these are some of the best handpicked and fun-filled historical books that you'll read here. Give them a try they definitely won't disappoint you. All the books mentioned here are my favorites so I won't be writing special things about them individually.
