What makes a man sit himself behind the wheel of a Formula 1-car? Is it the roar of the engine? The wheel-to-wheel combat? Pushing the car to limit just to see how fast you can go? F1-drivers are often described to have the same mentality as fighter-pilots. They have to react in milli-seconds, push their bodies to physical boundaries not thought possible and constantly push themselves, the team and the car to get ahead of their competition. They have to be fearless on track, or else you will lose out. Andrew Hawler has been described as the 'new' James Hunt. He is young, good-looking and downright daring on track. Some of his competitors have gone out and said he's too dangerous to be on track. One fateful afternoon, he finds out just how dangerous the sport he loves, is. In the aftermath, he starts to wonder if he can ever become the racer he once was. According to himself, that was the only version of him, that could win.

Skrivingen min startet med Hunger Games fanfiction, som kan finnes på profilen min her. Jeg har skrevet alt på Engelsk til nå, men for å gjenoppdage litt gleden av å skrive, har jeg lyst å legge ut noen egne one-shots på norsk, og høre responsen på det. Jeg tar imot all konstruktiv kritikk når det gjelder rettskriving og variasjon i språk (er mest vant til å lese og skrive på engelsk). Jeg var alltid fascinert av Johanna Mason karakteren, og har kommet opp med ideer til en egen historie for henne, som er mer sann mot original-fortellingen i Hunger Games bøkene, men som tar noen friheter i å gi henne noe(n) å kjempe for, og hvordan hun eventuelt kommer seg videre etter original-trilogien tar slutt. Snuttene blir publisert i litt tilfeldig rekkefølge, men vil organiseres i boken etter eventuell historisk rekkefølge. Det betyr dermed ikke at alle ville vært i samme historie, men kanskje i en versjon av det. Håper det faller i smak.

Just the ordinary collection of one-shots from stories I've already written, but took in a different direction, orstories I've wanted to write but never really managed to build up correctly. Or this might just be a way for me to rediscover my eagerness to write and create my own characters. Keep a heads up. I might bring a beloved character of yours into life. I will clearly mark universe and stories the idea derive from :)

Sometimes I just want to lay all my thoughts down on a sheet of paper, but I can't. Nobody's ever going to read them and I guess that's kind of the point, but at the same time, it isn't. I need people to read it, to have an opinion, to help me through the maze of fears and thoughts from my every day life. Whether it is joy or heartache, I know that there are some people here that truly are the greatest friends one can ask for.
