Namen. Etwas was viele Autoren zum verzweifeln bringt, aber warum? Ein Name ist nicht einfach nur das 'Ding' wie die Person gerufen wird sondern das Wort, dass alle Charaktereigenschaften in sich vereinen sollte. Er ist das Wort, das die Person durch das ganze Buch begleitet, das zeigt wie ruhig die Person beispielsweise ist, und wie temperamentvoll sie werden kann. Das Wort, dass dem Leser einen Vorgeschmack des Charakters gibt noch bevor dieser im Lauf des Buchs heraus kommt. Das Wort, das alles zugleich bedeutet. Und ein Wort, in dem noch Platz sein muss für Veränderungen des Charakters. Namen sind unheimlich wichtig für Bücher, denn durch sie personalisieren wir unsere Charaktere. Sie strahlen entweder Wärme, Boshaftigkeit, Vertrauen, Dunkelheit, Licht, Unsicherheit, Tapferkeit oder eine von tausend anderen Eigenschaften aus, und genau deswegen ist es so wichtig den richtigen Namen zu wählen. Einen Namen, der wie ein Spiegel fungiert, den Charakter der Person aufgreift und festhält, ihm aber seine eigenständige Art lässt. Namen sind das Herzstück einer Geschichte und um euren richtigem Namen zu finden müsst ihr nur dieses Buch aufschlagen. Aber selbst wenn man den einen Namen gefunden hat, kann es immer noch zu Schwierigkeiten während des Schreibens kommen: - Wie komme ich auf Ideen? - Wie vermeide ich große Sprünge in meiner Handlung? - Was tun wenn ich einfach eine Blockade im Kopf habe? Jeder Autor, gerade wenn er erst beginnt zu schreiben, hat Fragen und Problem, die er nicht alleine lösen kann. Deswegen möchte ich euch Tipps mit auf eure Reise geben, die mir selbst auch geholfen haben, die ich selbst entdecken musste, weil mir niemand geholfen hat.
