She stepped in front of me and looked at me with hatred filled electric blue eyes and asked, "who do you think you are anyway?" Her voice echoed in the stadium and silence followed, filling the air of the chilly evening as I stared at her shocked; I hadn't been expecting a question. I was ready for her to curse at me or even try to punch me, but the question caught me off guard. Looking around, the team stared at me, expecting an answer; so, I straightened up, trying to match her height; looking at her in the eye with equal hatred, I replied, "The football manager." I see the pigskin flying through the air. I block the running back and run towards the ball. My hands open, waiting to feel the ball in my hands. The feeling never comes. I turn to see a giant, 200 pound man running towards me at full speed. My mind doesn't process it until it's to late. All of the sudden I'm weightless and can't feel the ground underneath me. Then I feel the sickening crunch as my back hits the fake grass. I feel like I'm being dragged across the ground as my momentum launches me forward. I flip over and my shoulder hits the ground with a solid thud. That's not the worst part. My helmet goes soaring through the air and it's so quite, I can hear it land. I see my helmet on the ground and know it's too late. Jess Arthur, a quiet, shy girl is suddenly thrust back into Football, a game not only one of her her favorites, but her most feared. She knows that the guys would never accept her, so she disguises her self as Wolf, a masked player. Nothing could go wrong, right?

They all go to private schools and are on the fast track to becoming lawyers and doctors and neurosurgeons. They're not the ugliest girls, either. Meet the boys at Langlade School District Football Camp. They are middle-class people who could care less about the rules and breaking them. So what will happen when Ms. Rodgers insists that to jog with the girls, they need to learn some manners, so Coach McDonald suggests that they partner dance? What happens when Ms. Rodgers agrees, sets up the partners, and assigns them a specific dance that they will have to perform at the end of the summer? Will Aubrey, the goodiest of the goodies, and Landon, the biggest jerk and flirt of the football players, be able to dance together or will they decide to keep their distance? What happens when Aubrey might think she's falling in love with him? And what if Landon loves her too?
