It's been three years since Dipper and Mabel spent the summer in Gravity Falls, and things haven't been the same. Gideon's out of prison, and he's out to win Mabel's love, and exact his revenge on Dipper. He's teaming up with Pacifica, who wants revenge on Dipper for bringing shame to her family, and Robbie, who wants revenge on Dipper for ruining his relationship with Wendy. Also, Mermando's a human, and Dipper and Wendy's friendship is starting to feel a bit awkward. So...yeah. Things are pretty crazy. Steven and Connie have spent a lot of time together, three years to be exact. In this time Steven can summon his shield, make the bubble last longer and withstand more pressure, fuse with all of the gems, and even fuse with humans(if they agree). But, one thing he can not do is take Rose's sword out of the scabbard until one day, a monster appears while Steven and Connie are having a sleepover. The only problem is that the monster's weak spot...requires Steven to use the sword.

Dirk and Jake had been together for a year when the apocalypse started. They had made a promise to meet up somewhere at a certain time, but when Dirk never shows up, Jake starts to think he died.
