A floor tech, Jared Clark, and a new transfer doctor, Carlos Santana, at Evermore Hospital develop a rocky relationship that will test the strengths, and weaknesses of both their lives. Throughout the story, these two experience the hard truths of the real world through work and personal experiences, and realize some feelings they would've never thought they'd have. Betrayal, love, hate, lust, and more are on the mind of one, but can Carlos' family support him the way he knows that Jared can? Only time will tell.
