The beast's big blue eyes briefly flickered from the girl to her extended palm. Her muscles tensed. Her growl intensified. It had been a year since the battle with Drago Bludvist. Berk had changed a lot, with Hiccup as chief and Toothless as alpha. Things couldn't be better for Hiccup and his friends. What happens when Hiccup and Fishlegs come across an old legend about the Heart of Dragon. What happens when an unknown dragon rider with a night fury, a female for that manner, shows up at Berk? Why is Hiccup experiencing weird abilities such as talking to dragons and only the unknown rider can help him? What happens when trouble lurks at the corner since the mystery rider arrived? I own nothing except a few characters. And nobody steals my story. * I'm back!! I'm still having trouble writing, but I'm not letting you guys down. Updates will be slow though*

So... What if Toothless wasn't the last Nightfury? what if there was... another? Once upon a time, there had so many nightfuries, they flied peacefully and hunted fishes for their youngs, before the vikings hunted them down, giving them a bad fame, known by ''' The Dragon made by the Devil'' Well... that was kinda rude! They hunted them down till only one lasted, Toothless. Now with peace within vikings and dragons, they worked together for the food, fun, and the hard jobs, Toothless lived along with Hiccup, but they didnt know about a dragoness, flying in the wild and untameable skies, (Y/N) ... A pure Nightfury female. ( This story is for fun, i haven't seen a lot of people doing good fanfictions about this so.. i want to give it a try )

While hunting for dragons to save from Drago, Valka's helper, Camicazi (not the one from the books, I just used her name) stumbles upon a injured light fury. Knowing that the dragon could not survive on her own, Camicazi stays with her, not returning home. (This is one year before Hiccup and Toothless first met.)

AU. Hiccup never took the shot on that fateful night. Toothless was never shot down-and the war continued. Three years later, Berk is beset by dragon raids and hostile tribes while the boy who should have saved the island is merely the assistant in the forge. Replaced as Heir and with only the beautiful Shield Maiden Astrid as his friend, fate gives Hiccup one more chance to end the war and become the hero he was meant to be. Hiccstrid. It's been a month since Dragons and Vikings were brought together, now the only thing left to do is train them. Its close to winter in Berk, putting everyone on edge for food. Hiccup, the chiefs son, also the one that brought dragons and Vikings together isn't worried about the snow at all. He's usually the one to take advantage of the snowy weather, going dragon sledding with Astrid and the gang. But when Hiccup, mysteriously falls ill with an unknown sickness, Stoik's worries for his survival in the cold grow. In hopes to cure his only son Stoik sets out to sea to find the right medicine leaving Hiccup in the constant care of Gobber and Astrid. When tragic strikes, and Hiccup is now left on his own, his chances of surviving become small.

This is during dragons race to the edge. Where Hiccup and Toothless are in for more danger by an unexpected culture Okay it's not the BEST description but it's worth a shot
