He pushed me against the bookshelf and caged me there with his arms. There was a hint of playfulness swimming in his eyes."I want to play a game." "What?" He pretended to think about it for a second. When he looked back at me, I felt butterflies in my stomach at the intensity of his blue eyes. "Cat and mouse. I'll be the cat, you be the mouse." I tried to push him away with no success. "I don't want to play." He leaned in closer towards me until his lips were directly beside my ear. I shivered involuntarily. "That's too bad." Alessandra never wanted anything to do with the limelight. She was content living life in her three bedroom apartment alongside her bubbly aunt with a job down at the local bookshop. When fate entwines her with Hollywood's Golden boy she finds it to be a cruel joke. The film industry is full of nothing but shallow, air-headed bimbos and suave heart-breakers and Alessandra just so happens to be at the front line ready to mend her broken heart.

A football player and a cheerleader. The ideal and stereotypical couple right? Think again. Grayson Cooper charming, attractive, and stereotypically arrogant. Grayson is the star quarterback of Ocean City High and the most popular guy. One of those guys that a girl would die if he even talked to them. However even if it didn't seem like it Grayson hated the brainless seeming idiots that flirted with him. This is probably why he's so intrigued by the new girl who defies the stereotypes and isn't what everybody says she is. Aspen Peterson the new girl at Ocean City High new to Florida period. She is not only known as the new girl. Aspen is the captain of the cheerleaders after showing everyone out at tryouts. Blue eyes, dirty blonde hair, nice body, sounds like the stereotypical cheerleader. But that's not what Aspen is. She isn't interested in dating an empty-headed person who knows nothing, doesn't really care about prom, or the empty-headed people who think she sleeps around. Aspen is a free spirit girl, who isn't afraid "to be one of the boys", isn't afraid to be herself, but is afraid to be loved or let anybody in after a difficult past. Aspen vows not to fall in love, because of still struggling to let go. Will all that change when two people who think they're completely different, but really have more in common than they think cross paths? ★ I wrote this when I was in middle school (12-14 years old). Celeste Graham is on the top of the high school food chain. Students look up to her, but some just plainly feel intimidated. Being popular isn't exactly the greener side of the meadow, but just one night of getting locked into the school with a "nobody" made Celeste feel normal and genuinely happy. Both of them bring a hidden side to each other. They might disagree most of the time, but that was a little price to pay for falling for their polar opposite.

The awkward, intelligent, and bespectacled Emma Leighs never expected to be shot on the very first day of her senior year in high school. Shot by a camera, that is. Emma Leighs has steered clear of every and any type of attention out there for pretty much her entire high school life, taking a liking to the more subtler things such as photography and caffeine-induced night blogging in her grandmother's humble cottage, all while perfectly content with hiding her dark history and secrets from the world around her. But the disturbingly beloved tradition of four attractive teenage boys, a broken camera, a downpour of rain, and a single photograph seems to finally acquire her of some (reluctant) friends. And maybe, just maybe, they'll teach her a thing or two about what she's been missing out on. (WARNING: Psychological and mature subjects are present in this story that could be triggering and/or intense for some, though the bigger lot of it mainly focuses on self discovery, accepting your flaws/mental disorders, and creating new bonds with the people around you as well as allowing them to be your support on the long road of recovery, so this story may be a bit slow paced. Swearing and mild language are also present. Read at your own risk.) Highest ranking: Teen Fiction #3

"Don't underestimate me, Hunter." I gulp, trying to sound unaffected by our close proximity. His lips are inches away from mine when he whispers with a smirk "Bite me, Kitten." ----------------------- "When a boy with anger issues meets a girl with even bigger anger issues..." Scarlet has been through quite a bit, but this final move to a new town was meant to make things easier and allow her to start fresh. After a lot of new friends, enemies, first impressions and situations she's never dealt with before, she realizes that life isn't meant to be simple, or maybe, it's a lot more simple than she thinks. Hunter, on the other hand, has never doubted the simplicity of life. What he wants- he gets. Right? And he definitely wants her. ----------------------- Completed -----------
