Erik has disappeared into the unknown, vanished after he was exposed as a mutated tyrant on national television. The Whitehouse is in ruins and the world is in hysteria after the exposure of advanced beings. Mutants are in more danger than ever before, Erik, Charles and Raven's faces were broadcast internationally. Charles has returned home with Hank, and relapsed into his mindless alcohol fueled, mind-numbing drugged up ways; tumbling back into a crippling depression. Erik cannot be trusted to be left alone, scheming and dreaming up a new strategic master plan to rid the world of the un-mutated "Neanderthals", and replenish his squad of mutants -- with his own children: Wanda and Pietro. He must be found and stopped before he gets the chance to strike again and vanquish all hope of redemption. Charles dreams of bringing Erik back in and teaching him how to use his power for good; to teach him that being a mutant is a gift, not a curse; to teach him that just because someone stumbles - loses their way, it doesn't mean they are lost forever. But to ever foster any hope of restoring Erik to his former pacifistic glory, he must accept his own gifts and use them; no matter how much it pains him. He must suffer for the sake of others: for the sake of Erik. How much would you sacrifice for others? How much would you suffer for those you love? To what lengths would you go to try and reclaim the un-claimable?

This history is about how fucked up are Charles and Erik after the "Days Of Future Past". They can't admit how they feel about each other. They never talked about that, they never had a kiss (so far)... But they love each other.

Erik kisses him on the forehead, brushing damped brunette locks out the darkened cheek. Erik's fingers caressing it, and the brunette winced, but still deeply asleep. Charles is unhappy with his life, one day he decides to replace his incomplete chess set and meets Erik. Erik has been miserable from a young age and has found hope in his and Charles' friendship. Together the pair of them play a lot of chess and learn that they're not the only people with unbelievable gifts like the ones they have.

Charles P.O.VMe,Raven and Moira have located Shaw,once we got to where Shaw was located i felt someone in my mind.i grip my head screaming in pain when Moira asks if im alright,i get back the surface of the boat to see someone in the water."you have to let go! you gotta help me! let it go! you have to let it go!" i finally just get a close look at the man....hes quite handsome.i take my coat off i jump into the water and i grab a hold of him i try using my telepathy to calm him but i fail so the only thing i could do was kiss him,at first he doesnt react but after a while he relaxes and i put him up for air,"get off me! you were in my head how did you do that?!",'im like you just calm your mind!"with that he looks at me catching his breathe,"your not alone Erik.your not alone"once we got out of the water we went to the secret CIA base that was off sight,while we head to the base me and Erik start to slowly get to know each other(sorry if its crumby this is my first one shot and i wrote this at 10:30 at night so i was pretty groggy writing it lol my apologies)
