Sofia wants to play with James, but James is more interested in spending time alone. Since Prince Hugo doesn't know what it's like to be the older brother, James asks him to be Sofia's big brother, so he can have time for what he wants to do. However, Hugo seems to enjoy being a big brother, and Sofia is having a lot of fun being his little sister. James becomes jealous of Hugo as Sofia treats him a lot like a big brother. After learning that Hugo is afraid of snakes, James plays a bad prank on him at school, which starts an uproar on campus!

Princess Adara has recently transferred to Royal Prep, and she's taken an instant liking to Prince Hugo. But every time Sofia comes around, Hugo starts paying attention to her instead, which is enough for Adara to notice the spark between them. Since Hugo and Sofia are going to be in an ice-dancing competition, they'll be spending even more time getting ready. Adara becomes jealous of Sofia and does everything she can to make her look bad in front of Hugo. Will she go too far?

After learning that Prince Hugo's big brother, Axel, calls him "Baby Bro", Sofia's friends decide to give each other fun nicknames. Everyone is having fun except for Sofia, whom Amber insists on referring to as "Grape". She doesn't even realize that Sofia's feelings are hurt. Can a lesson from Hugo help the princesses realize that nicknames can hurt? (Hugo's song "Nicknames" is in the same tune as the show's song "Know It All".
