(If you haven't read my Conflicting Powers series then this might not make much sense to you.) It's been nine years since the last battle with Magneto. It all seems peaceful until Jay's ninth birthday; everything they had finally starts crashing down around him and his family as the entire race of mutants gets threatened to be wiped out forever. Peter Maximof has a bad reputation. He has a special ability that makes things like stealing easy. Peter has superhuman speed. He can move so fast that security cameras only see a flash as he races in and out of stores. In "X-Men days of the future past" he helped people who claimed to be "like him" break in and out of the pentagon. This story starts 3 months before this happened.
