(If you haven't read my Conflicting Powers series then this might not make much sense to you.) It's been nine years since the last battle with Magneto. Since then the X-men's enemies has been laying low and Paiton, Alex, and Jay have been able to act like a normal family, or as normal as you can be when you're a mutant. In those nine years mutants have been showing up by the waves compared to what their numbers had been before despite a cure being available for them to take. Even Xavier's school is filling up so that the older teachers and mutants had to get houses nearby to make room. It all seems peaceful until Jay's ninth birthday; everything they had finally starts crashing down around him and his family as the entire race of mutants gets threatened to be wiped out forever. This is Jay's story of survival, sacrifice, death, and hope. (Based of X-men Days of Future Past and a bit before it happens.)

"...She gripped the armrests of the chair and grimaced. The heat was getting to be too much. She could feel her life force wilting like a flower in the desert..." June Seers was, by nature, just your average girl. She attended school, had friends and a wonderful home life. However, average isn't really the right word. In a world where mutant acceptance is rare, desperate to be proud of who she is, June Seers cannot live her life suppressing what makes her special. Though the People at The Oliver Wren School for Mutant Depletion may try to "normalise" her and her peers, when the opportunity for freedom arises, June and her friends seize it with fierce determination.

Growing up sucks. Especially when you live amongst the toughest group of mutants to ever live. Vinnie Wynterz went through something completely similiar seventeen years ago. Only this time... it's Django's turn: a rebellious, snotty, thick-headed sixteen-year-old who acts a lot older than she is and hates practically everything. Except her mutant abilities. Django resents her mother, refuses to get close to any of her others housemates, and she desperately wants to know who her father is. But her miserable life only seems to get worse when she consistently seems to make the totally wrong decisions. But the problem is... she enjoys the chaos. Will she ever grow up? [All characters - except for Pinnie(©) and Vinnie Wynters(©) - are based on the 'X-men: Evolution' cartoon series back in 2000-2003. Unfortunately, I do not own the Marvel's X-men or any of their pictures which I happened to find using Google Images. I certainly wished I owned the rights to this genius fiction because they're practically my life. But everything related to the X-men belong to Marvel and their creators like Martin Goodman, Stan Lee, and others. I have no problem giving credit where credit is due, however as of July 16, 2014, all fictional content in THIS fan fiction story, X-Men: Retitution(©) belong to ME and are MY original ideas, as well as the creation of the characters Pinnie(©) and Vinnie Wynters(©). All rights reserved to me, VinnieDeJesu or Gabrielle Vinnie DeJesu. Awesome story cover art created by NinjaTurtleNerd. Thanks! -Vin]

Peter Maximof has a bad reputation. He has a special ability that makes things like stealing easy. Peter has superhuman speed. He can move so fast that security cameras only see a flash as he races in and out of stores. In "X-Men days of the future past" he helped people who claimed to be "like him" break in and out of the pentagon. This story starts 3 months before this happened.

Just hold on for one moment. Imagine something for me. Imagine that you live in a world where you're hunted down for being anything other than normal. For having 'gifts', and sometimes, not being able to control them. But someone is there to help you. To protect and care about you. Someone finally has their hand out to pull you out of your despair and grief. Professor Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters. A place where people with abilities beyond human belief go because no one else will accept them for who they are. Outcasts, rejects, runaways, freaks, monsters. Mutants. There, they are family, friends. Because everyone is equal, and has been through the same trauma and hatred their whole lives. Taryn is one of those people. She has ice running through her veins and a pair of white wings retrofitted onto her back. Her parents allowed scientists to experiment on her at birth. She's anything but normal, but at least she's somewhere she knows she's safe. Hopefully.
