Now, he is set the task of escorting Gavin Free - a man a couple years younger than him - across what is left of the United States, fighting for their lives. Their minds set on one goal. Survival. As they travel the post-apocalyptic United States, the two men grow closer, bonding with each other, their relationship growing.  And nothing can get in their way. No infected. No humans.
