"Hey, look at this," he grinned, pointing at the couple I had created not more than month ago.
He snapped his fingers and the second after, to my horror, the man and the woman broke their hands apart, turning to each other with angry expressions, before starting to argue.
"Stop it!" I demanded, turning his attention to me. "Stop ruining my couples! They are meant to be together and you can't just snap fingers and break them up!"
"That's the point, sweetheart," he smirked. "I break them up, because I can. I don't believe in love and I think I'm doing that man a favor by making him see that being single is much more awesome than being tied down to a woman."
"You are just a meanie, who is jealous of their relationship!"
"No, sweetheart," he chuckled. "I'm the anti-cupid."

Lela Heart is one of the cupids of the world. She's bubbly, cheery and lively and loves her job of bringing two people together. But good things don't last forever.
She is pulled out of this world, where there is no screaming or fighting, by one man, who titles himself as the anti-cupid. He'll not only destroy Lela's work, but tries to make her understand that love does not exist.
Lela ignores him and continues shooting people with love arrows, but how can she go on much longer, when there is always a stubborn, arrogant and conceited anti-cupid on her back, waiting the perfect moment to break those arrows?
