I helped her when I could, knowing exactly what would happen if the people on the Ark discovered what I was doing. Eventually, they did. Now I'm a prisoner. Then everything changes. Instead of waiting around to find out whether I'll be floated when I turn eighteen, Octavia, me, and ninety-eight other teenage prisoners are shoved onto a dropship and told we're being sent to Earth. The planet everyone says is still deadly. Great. What the Ark doesn't know is that I have something none of their rules, guards, or council members could ever control. Magic. Unlimited magic. It doesn't drain me. It doesn't weaken me. And there isn't much I can't do with it.
