Clary has a sister, Serena that has lived in Idris for three years. When Serena has heard the news that Clary got taken to the New York City Institute, she travels to help her sister. She meets the group of shadowhunters Alec, Clary, Isabelle, and Jace. This book is based off of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.
