When Leah a typical high schooler's life takes a turn into the unexpected she has no clue what to do. Her family gets into a terrible car crash where only her and her little brother Michael make it out okay. Both her parents are in a coma. Her and her brother are forced to move to Oahu from their home in Maui where their parents can get better treatment. Though moving to a new school is very hard for Leah especially since her favorite uncle's evil fiancé Vivian and her wicked daughter totally hate her and Michael for no reason and are keeping tons of secrets. The only thing that seems to be good is Leah's new crush who seems totally nice and talks to her despite all the other girls practically falling him everywhere.

Josh the new hottie in town the jock thatʻs nothing like the stereotypes, meets Sofia, the good girl in her parents eyes, the straight A student, but most of all the most unpopular girl in the 10th grade at Greenhaven High. Josh- It's the first day at a new school and I really really don't want to go, but my mom is forcing me to go. Maybe it will be a good day? I'll make friends and have a good first day and not screw anything up and maybe it'll take my mind off of Caroline. I was so wrong at least about most of these things because I stumble into the cutest girl I have ever seen and I think I'm falling for her, but I keep making a fool of myself. ~1 year later~ What will happen when Josh gets into an accident?

He places the necklace and bracelet in my hand, I stand there in shock, not knowing what to say. He turns around and takes one step back towards the stage, "Lucas Robert Hemmings, you have something of mine." He turns around to face me, trying to hold things together, but failing, "What?"I pause a second trying to think if this is to chiche or cheesy. Screw it, "My heart," he steps towards me and I smash my lips into his before he has a chance to say anything. He wraps his arms around the small of my back and I don't hesitate to wrap my arms around his neck. Our kiss lasted for a few seconds before we pulled away and rested our foreheads together. Even though our kiss was only a few seconds it had so much passion and hunger in it that could last a lifetime.

Not even 24 hours of being in Cali and I'm being hit on by a walking Ken Doll, aka Aiden Mathews, the boy next door. Little do I know this is just the beginning of this never ending roller-coaster, and maybe even a relationship or two in the process. This roller-coaster that I didn't even know I got on to, leads to old memories flooding back to the surface, family I haven't seen in years, and old friends I tried to bury a long time ago.
