This story was set long before Teresa and Thomas came along. After Minho's girlfriend, Paula was stung, she came out of the changing a different person. Changes didn't only affected Paula but so did the glade. From the appearance of Beetle Blades, anonymous nightmares and the stories from Paula's flashbacks, Minho tries to figure out the mysteries behind all this animosity as well as finding a way out of the maze.
