This is not a typical Wattpad story. Beginning on July 5th, 2016 and continuing for a week, I'll post a poem, followed by writing prompts to The Identity Session. Respond to all or any of the prompts that inspire you from each day, either by in-line commenting or by writing your own story and tagging it #Identity. You can join whenever you want and participate for as many prompts as you want. I'm looking forward to writing together! Writing - and poetry - helped me overcome "slut" shaming and sexual bullying, and a big part of how I did that was discovering and defining my own identity. With "The Identity Session: A Woman Naming Herself for Herself," I'm inviting the Wattpad community to take part in this process, too, wherever and whoever you are. The prompts are written with women in mind, but all genders are encouraged to participate. This story is a collaboration with In Her Skin. All the poems and prompts are provided by In Her Skin (http://www.inherskin.net). Run by storytellers Stacy de la Rosa and Isabel Abbott, In Her Skin organizes periodic writing sessions, in which participants are emailed daily writing prompts in the form of a photograph, poem, or other artwork, over the course of a week. You can sign up for current or future sessions here: http://www.inherskin.net/#the-identity-session

Vena Anderson, a nineteen year old girl has moved away from home to attend college. She has no desire to live in a small dorm room and having to live with a complete stranger, so living in an apartment for her college years is her next option. The only flaw in her plan is that she can't afford it without a roommate. Vena has lived in this apartment all through the past year and just as the new school year is right around the corner, the landlord decided that she would raise the rent. James Hendersom, a nineteen year old guy has been recently kicked out of his dorm for smoking cigarettes. He now has been living with his parents until he can find a place of his own. He has been searching and searching for the past week and could not find anything, until just a few days ago. James was looking through the ads, again and one popped out more then all the others sitting on that plain "Looking for roommate. Contact Vena Anderson for further information" *This Wattpad story is rated Mature for strong language and some sexuality* Book One of the 'I Am Living With An Idiot' series. This book is currently being edited and revised because in some aspects it is so horrible, so I am working on it!!

This is a collection of some of my poems I have written about what it's like to be free. Whether freedom be death, music, letting go, being crazy, having fun, praising, enjoying nature, floating, crying, or even loving. Just let freedom ring.

I feel like a lot of us don't know what freedom really is. We're stuck in a pattern of conformity but don't notice it..
