Hiccup is 9 years old he finds a dragon and names him toothless but hiccup being social awkward he runs away with toothless to a better place

Toothless is as much a part of the How to Train Your Dragon movies as Hiccup is, but in the movies we do not get to see the story as much from his eyes. How was he feeling while Hiccup was out being trained to kill dragons? What was Toothless's past? Why was he a bit of a dragon outcast? Here is the story in Toothless's point of view.

Hiccup and Toothless were patrolling the village of Berk after Dagar and his men attacked the night before. The two entered a cave and heard a small cry around a corner deeper into the cave. When they looked inside, they noticed a tiny Night Fury hatchling, who was crying for his/her mother. The two decide to take the small dragon in, to see how the older dragon would do as a parent, and still be the alpha. This is my first "X Reader" story, so forgive me if I make some mistakes
