COMPLETE #1 in Fantasy #1 in Adventure #1 in Historical Fiction ---------- Sometimes, believing helps us to see truth. Other times, we need a little evidence to believe. But there is truth behind everything; every false manoeuvre, ever little lie...a small piece of truth is hidden. Just like truth is wound into legends too. Growing up best friend to the future King, Arabelle never really thought her life could go wrong. Whenever she wanted something, or needed something, she would get it. Then she lost her father at a young age and Arabelle was forced into a world of dresses, balls, and lies. Being a tomboy, Arabelle would have rather been out on her horse doing archery practice with her brothers. When Arabelle gets curious and sneaks into a forbidden area of the castle, she discovers a deadly secret: her bloodline is sacred, dating back to a legend surrounded by the one thing she knows not to be true. Unsure what to do, she gets caught up in a series of events that lead to her being hidden and whisked away from the only familiar place she knew. After making some unlikely allies, Arabelle sets off on a journey to find the legend of the last dragon egg. Fate has something big in store for her; will she be able to withstand the pressure of it all? There is one thing Arabelle needs to learn to survive this new place... Some things are more than a legend. ---------- © Isabella Espe 2013 - 2019 This is a work of fiction. THANK YOU, Wattpad, for the HQ Love Watty Award! Concept: A mysterious young woman flees from her troubled past only to discover it is impossible to escape THE SECRET that haunts her. *PLEASE NOTE: This story was originally inspired by the movie "Sleeping With the Enemy". * * * * * "I would never, Steven," she promised, turning away from him in an attempt to protect herself. "I know you wouldn't," he screamed. Cupping her chin in his hand, he forced her to look at him. "Because I would kill you." His words hung heavy in the air. Sarah's heart sank into her stomach. No matter how many times she'd heard the menacing phrase, she could never get used to it. It had the same affect on her as the first time he'd thrown the ugly words in her face. The familiar sting of bile rose in her throat, and she knew she would deplete the contents of her stomach once she was locked in the safety of their master bath. 'If I make it through this time,' she agonized. Her biggest fear was that one day he would really lose his temper with her. Who knew what would happen then? *This story is an unedited first draft. Top Ranks: Action #1, Mystery and Thriller #1 *This story contains scenes of abuse and may be disturbing to some readers. While the characters are fictional, domestic violence is a serious issue that many people across the world face. If you or someone you know is the victim of abuse, please seek help immediately. I have had a very eventful life. The stories that I post are from real events that I have witnessed. Some of them are quite humorous, some may be totally outrageous and shocking, but all of them are true (Most of the time, real events are lots better than fiction anyway). I hope that when you read these clips from my life that it may bring a smile to your face and make your day a little more pleasant, or make you count your blessings! Copyright 2014 Lloyd Benson

"We all wear masks, and the time comes when we cannot remove them without removing some of our own skin." - André Berthiaume. Unfortunately, when the Invisible Hand calls himself a super villain, he means it. He is totally, irrevocably, 100% evil. Even though he does stupid things to get a girl to laugh... Even though he took her to Iceland to see the Northern Lights... Even though he saved her life not once, but twice... He still dropped her off the Chrysler Building and left her to die. That girl was me. Highest Ratings: #1 in superhero #1 in supervillain #3 in projectsuper #33 in Teen Fiction #120 in funny "Full of action, mystery, and swoon-worthy romance, Super brings out the hero in us all." - @tasting_stars (author of the soon-to-be published Men In Tights trilogy) ©2015 chameleons rule All Rights Reserved

Selene is a "non-essential" crew member on a generational spaceship that classifies artists as insane. She and her fellow non-essential artists are given a rather unique assignment: create art they find beautiful, with no angle of making it essential for life on board the ship. As they hone their art skills, Selene teams up with a troubled sculptor and learns just how dangerous art--and being non-essential--can be. This novella takes place on the spaceship Godspeed and deals with characters seen in the Across the Universe series. You can read it without reading the novels, although it might be more fitting to read it after A Million Suns.

Joel Wyatt is a lowly call center representative who works for the "big, evil empire". No, really... the maniacal CEO of Vaig Communications has battled against some of the greatest costumed crusaders the world has ever known. Not that that has anything to do with Joel; he's just trying to keep the peace with his girlfriend, Gwen, make time for bowling with his buddy, Spliff, and afford the ever-rising rent prices in Denver, Colorado. But strange things are afoot in the 303 area code, and suddenly, Joel is finding himself face to face with the sort of heroes, villains, and giant, radioactive monsters that he used to only read about on his news feed. If he's not careful, Joel might just move from being a spectator to an active participant in a series of events that could change the course of history itself... and maybe even his own life.
