Kate Smith had always thought her life was pretty normal. Her mom told her stories of an impossible man who had seen impossible things. A great Time War in which the whole of his planet and people were destroyed, time travel, space travel, and doing all that with the woman he loved. Typical story telling, right? Or at least she thought so, until she met the impossible man called the Doctor. The man her mother had fallen in love with before she loved her father. Which according to her mother, was the same person, only they were still different. Find put what happens when Kate meets this extraordinary man!
