Elisa Patterson and Flynn Roberts both have appreciation for the arts. Thus it is not surprising to see them have another thing in common: appreciation for each other. In this short story, their love is shown to each other--a love that was broken but was never set free.

Awakening from their boring, usual lives as students, a small group of narrowly stereotyped teenagers find each other alone and stuck in the middle of a quarantined, school-wide zombie apocalypse. Although everything around them has changed, they stumble upon familiar faces in school, juggling between deciding who's still in their right mind and finding a way out of the mountain of flesh-munchers along with the few co-survivors they think they could trust.
