We live in this world where all the bad things happen only to women. Men are considered as "knights in shining armour" and women are considered as "damsels in distress", who needs a man to save her from all the bad's of this world. A man is supposed to be too "macho" in this world. Where he's supposed to act tough and not show his emotions at all times. Which, by the definition of this society, is a sign of a 'true man'. Well, what will happen if it's a guy who's in need of a rescuer? A guy, who's childhood had been robbed mercilessly from him. A guy, who couldn't defend his pride, dignity and honour. A guy, who was overpowered by someone else physically, mentally and emotionally, scarring him for life. Not every bad thing happens to girls alone. Guys suffer too. Which goes unnoticed by many people. At least girls can share their pain with others. But guys? They've this image they have to live up to. They're basically hurting themselves by keeping this to themselves. Cause according to this society, "Guys are supposed to be strong. They shouldn't cry or let their emotions be on loose." My intention to write this book, is to spread awareness about this sensitive issue. We all know that 'rape' is a common term which is used specifically for girls. But, it does happen to guys too.
