Warning: This is a sequel to Toys of a Dangerous Mind and must be read after the first one. Unless you have read the first one, I advise you not to read this one; you would miss out on the utter brilliance of my story. Okay? Good :D "The Games were over for me, but another kind had began. And for the rest of eternity, I would stay in his demonic grasp, always playing his games." Danielle has made her choice; to become Raxis's wife, and to become a demon. Locking away her emotions from everyone, and herself, she aims to stop caring, so she can survive. But this isn't so easy with her former boyfriend being the best man at her wedding. Through dreams and nightmares, a tortured honeymoon and the impending prospect of becoming a demon, Danielle soldiers on, always striving to keep herself away from her worst fear which lurks below in the hellish reality of the Games of Pain. When a shocking revelation occurs, Danielle's life is thrown out of balance-even more so. Now everything has got a whole lot more deadly and dangerous. Love is revived, and now she is fighting for another. However, Raxis always knows, and everything is drawn into his plans. Who will win this time? Read and find out in Games of a Different Kind.

"If the world can't handle the truth, give them a spectacular lie." Bitch. That's what they called me at my old school. I disagree: I'm just brutally honest, that's all. Some people don't like honesty. Exhibit A: Matthew's family. None of them want to acknowledge that their Golden Boy is gay. Exhibit B: My Mother. I only told her the truth: that she was a crappy parent who never should've gotten knocked up in the first place. But she was so offended that she shipped me off to my fabulously wealthy father and his walking-billboard-for-plastic-surgery of a wife. So I devised a brilliant plan. My new friend Matthew was sick of hiding his sexuality. I was tired of obnoxious rich boys hitting on me. So why not pretend to be dating? He wouldn't have to answer uncomfortable questions anymore, and I'd enter my new school as the girlfriend of the star quarterback. It should be easy, right? Of course, I didn't plan on falling for Matthew's brother.

Her future and a past even hidden from her collide as she wades through a world she'd never dared to dream of, allowing her half heart to maybe find an equally broken one in the unlikely source of Seth Ryan.
