This is a very short fanfiction. But I'm hoping you'll find it just as emotional as I felt while writing it. It contains spoilers about the ending of The Last Guardian so make sure you've watched it.

Runako--a boy that lives in a far away village is taken. He was the chosen one. The boy has been stolen by a man-eating beast that is known to be feared: Trico. At first, the boy is scared of the creature. He had always learned to fear it but makes an unlikely friendship. Trico needs help to do something before taking Runako home. COLD. That was all I could feel when I felt consciousness begin to welcome me back. At first when I opened my eyes, I could see nothing. The pure inky world around me offered no help to me in terms of vision, and I shook this off as this just being the lights off in the house. But it began to get lighter and lighter as my eyes adjusted to the night. And then as quick as I had made the conclusion I was in my village home, something new crept into the front of my mind as I realized I wasn't home at all. I wasn't even in the village.

Lance had a simple life. Wake up, go work at the little coffee shop that he loved, hang out with his family or friends, and then go home to his small apartment. Maybe party if he was feeling it. Keith's life was not so simple. Wake up, go to his favorite little coffee shop, watch his back, try not to get killed, visit his grandmother that isn't going to live for long, make sure he stays low so that his stepfather and his "friends"-more like goons- don't kill him. Maybe wallow in his own loneliness if he was feeling it. Eventually Lance will notice this boy. He will see his sleep deprived eyes and he will see his tangled hair. He will realize that this boy needs help. Mentally and Physically. Eventually Keith will notice this boy. He will see his warm smile and he will see his happy strut. He will realize that he envies this boy. Mentally and Physically. One may have a difficult time tolerating the other. But they both know they have this ability to grow on each other.
