After a few nights of staying awake by the telephone and constantly drifting off to sleep alone, a certain nubby horned troll begins to suspect something going on with his boyfriend. How oblivious does he think he is?

Karkat was a troll with mutant blood. Dave was an albino human with red eyes. Karkat just transfered to a new school but his neighbors are strange and huge pricks. Dave had always lived in the same town since he was a kid he just got new neighbors who are trolls and the youngest seem the grouchiest and cutest.

Dave Strider. The coolest miner yet. Was second in line to his Bro, but he's not anymore. For now, the miner decided to take a short cut through a cave than going over. Even though the map obviously says over and not through. Sadly, his decision takes him to get lost within the dark maze of a cave. Then finding a monster along the way, no ordinary monster that's for sure. Possibly a new friend? Or will the miner be lost forever ever? --- This was originally created via roleplay by a great first time rolepayer and myself. Karkat Vantas was an average high schooler, until he transferred to another school. He soon met Dave Strider and, for once, had a friend he actually enjoyed talking to. But soon, Karkat feels more than just friendship for this cool-kid hipster. Could this be... love?

Except for one, tiny hot-headed loud mouth who everyone finds cute but denies it. Karkat 'I hate everyone and everything' Vantas. Just your average asshole, in a very interesting way, actually. No one yet everyone knows he exists. Don't ask how. So, what happens when a teacher ironically decides to partner these two up for a project?
