A land torn by flames, people struggle to make a living. Two hundred years ago, a young wizard brought forth Flame Birds, birds that would set the land on fire, burning hard grown crops. As the did, the dragons followed their example, becoming terrors as well. People adapted, living under the fear of the Flame Birds. And yet they feared still more. Years ago, a prophecy had been given, a prophecy that filled them with dread. You wait in fear, The end may be near. watch out for one, he will come, Unmarried, untamed, empty of fear. With hair of brown, and eyes for green, Through he alone peace will be seen. The prophecy was translated by those who benefited from the fear the dragons and flamebirds brought. They told the people it meant that one would come who instead of saving them, would bring peace by destroy all humans. So they did all they could to stop this. They married every young man at a young age, especially those with brown hair and green eyes. But people began to ask questions, to wonder if the prophecy really meant what they had been taught. And so the world waited, watching and holding their breath. Waiting for one to come, the one who might save them, or kill them. The one who would determine whether or not their land would become a land of fire.

Sometimes, expecting something out of someone is the worst way to connect with them. Tin Tin Amble knows this all too well, coming from a family with a father who wants him to do everything but what Tin Tin wants to do and a mother living in fear that her marriage isn't scaling up to what she expected. Not to mention two younger siblings who he feels responsible for. Pressure's on to be perfect, but he's anything other than that. In school, he's known as the High School's photographer. He carries his camera with him everywhere and is definitely in the "in" crowd. Then the phrase "Do it, you won't!" is directed at him in particular and he snaps. In desperation to prove himself once and for all, he gives in to prank a girl, also in his Junior class, named Alivia. An edgy Christian drama novelette. Jerry has problems. A few years ago his pregnant mother died. His Dad has reduced himself to a drunk. Dad gets violent when he drinks, which is all the time. Jerry decides to run away, but ends up destroying another family by taking all of his anger towards his dad out on a stranger. How will this all be reconciled? This version of the story has been through an edit, a title change and a cover change. It's a much cleaner better version of the story. I've published the first 3 chapters. Her never-failing brother goes after her, and after a miss adventure, the two head on to unite the Mountain people for the rebel army. With Leisha finally back on their side, the rebels decide to rid the land of Sadon once and for all. But, getting rid of him is going to be harder than it seems... and even if they do manage to kill him, what then?

After the end of The Rebel, Ella heads home in order to locate her family and find The Change. While in her hometown, she begins to under go a change herself. Johnny claims that her eyes are changing colors, and she begins to act differently. While Ella changes on the inside, insane things begin to happen. As Ella begins to grow in God and put her faith in Him even more, she gains certain abilities and so called 'powers'- miracles. But what will become of Ella and Johnny? "If you think war stradagies and battles are hard to handle, you obviously have never met a boy." Ella thinks to herself. And what of poor Owen, looking from the outside, confused and jealous? And the biggest question that stikes Ella the most- Could her father be the AntiChrist?
